Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, Kate Pace Lindsay started skiing at the age of two and began racing at the age of five. She raced for the North Bay Ski Racers, the North Ontario Division and the Ontario Ski team before qualifying as a member of Canada's National Women's Alpine Team in May of 1988, remaining on the team until her retirement in 1998. In a superb career spanning nine years racing at the top international level she competed on the Federation Internationale de Ski (FIS) World Cup circuit 64 times in the Super G and Downhill events, placing among the top 10 finishers on 15 occasions...
