The Canadian Ski Hall of Fame and Museum was created to honour the individuals who have reached the pinnacle of success and/or who have significantly contributed to the advancement of skiing and snowboarding in Canada. We pay tribute to their competitive skills, obsession with perfection, forward-thinking vision, and exceptional leadership by sharing their stories with current and future generations.
The accomplishments of these individuals have changed the course of snowsports as we know it. And it’s important for us to preserve this history by mirroring how these sports became a way of life for Canadians nationwide.

A New Home, An Epic Mission
From the installation of its first chairlift in 1939, Mont Tremblant has shared a special place in the hearts of Canadians with a love of snowsports. The Mont Tremblant region was awarded the relocation and hosting of the new Canadian Ski Hall of Fame & Museum. It is a place that shares so much Canadian heritage in keeping ski and snowboard DNA alive.
