Cary Mullen

Cary Mullen was on skis at the age of three and by the age of six was racing for the Sunshine Ski Club of Alberta where "...his dream of winning the World Cup was born".  Nine years later he became a member of the Banff Alpine Racers, was appointed to the Alberta Ski Team at 17, and became a member of the Canadian National Alpine Ski Team at the age of 19 in 1989.  He remained with the national team until December, 1988 when he recorded his final race on the Federation Internationale de Ski (FIS) World Cup Circuit at Val d'Isere, France.

After joining the national team he competed in 133 major races in his long racing career including 73 - FIS World Cup races, FIS races, World Ski Championships, Nor-Am Cup, European Cup, Chilean National Championships, Canadian National Championships, South American Cup and US Nationals.  He was also selected to represent Canada on the Olympic Winter Games team in 1992, XVl Games, Albertville, France, XVll Games, Lillehammer, Norway and the XVlll Games, Nagano, Japan (injury prevented him from competing)...
