Attracting skiers from Canada to Switzerland, competitions included Downhill/Slalom Races, Jumping and Cross Country Skiing. Pierre Francioli of Switzerland won the 1937 Dominion Ski Championship Men’s Downhill and Slalom Races; A. Engen of Salt Lake City Utah, USA won the Ski Jumping Competition; Howard Chivers of Dartmouth won the Cross Country competition; and S. Kolterud of Norway won the combined (Cross Country and Jumping) competition at the 1937 Dominion Ski Championships.
