Shirley and Sharon Firth

Coached by Bjoger Pettersen, Shirley and Sharon Firth broke through the ceiling on multiple levels, including winning a staggering 79 National Championship medals. The first Aboriginal women to compete in cross-country skiing on the international stage, the twins represented Canada in four world championships, and four Olympic Winter Games.
