Boots, Ski – 84.35 B85 a&b

1 pair of German Weiss Blau Tempo ski boots made of Juchten leather – from a stunted siberian calf. Boots are brown in colour and have 12 grommets per boot to support laces which are missing. Heel of boots have 2 grooves to support cable bindings for both cross-country & alpine skiing. Heel of boots also have a leather loop. Toes of boots are squared and there are 2 small metal pieces on each side of the boots. This pair of boots was used by Canadian Ski Hall of Fame member Bruce Carnall in placing third in the men’s downhill and then by Gertrude Wepsala in winning the ladies downhill slalom combined at the March 1940 Dominion Championship.
