William P. Tindale

Through his appointments and accomplishments, Bill Tindale was considered to have been one of the most forward looking sports officials of his day.  His concept of a national team approach to competitor development was adopted by nearly all sports governing bodies in Canada.  His organizational contribution created the modern operating environment for both the ski and Olympic associations; other sports organizations once again following his lead.
